The 5-Year and Annual PHA Plans provide a ready source for interested parties to locate basic PHA policies, rules, and requirements concerning the PHA’s operations, programs, and services, and informs HUD, families served by the PHA, and members of the public of the PHA’s mission, goals and objectives for serving the needs of low- income, very low- income, and extremely low- income families.
In compliance with HRS Section 356D-20(3), reports provides the status of its major programs: Federal and State Low Income Public Housing, Section 8 Subsidy Programs, and Construction Management. Additionally, includes the activities and accomplishments of the administrative offices—Property Management and Maintenance Services, Section 8 Subsidy Programs, Contract & Procurement, Planning & Evaluation, Compliance, Hearings, Information Technology, and Human Resources—that work to support the HPHA’s three major programs.
Our audits are performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America as prescribed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States; and the provisions of the Uniform Guidance.
